Required Experience/Skills:

  • 2-5 years of experience in framing, preparing, and negotiating US Government and commercial agreements to include sole source and competitive awards.

  • Adept at contractual reviews, contract analysis with the aptitude to work on diverse contractual matters.

  • Assist in reconciliation of funding issues on contracts under purview and communicate with cross-functional departments and customers while working towards resolution.

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and execute non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements (TAs).

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contractual agreements to include crafting Statements of Work (SOWs) and determining applicable contract flow-downs.

  • Manage contractual baseline by maintaining awareness and tracking of contract modifications, due dates, deliverables, etc.

  • Maintain contract filing system to ensure accurate tracking of all contract documents, modifications, and agreements.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external customers.

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to ensure that all deadlines are met on time and with a high degree of quality.

  • Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects/assignments by setting priorities and exercising sound judgment within areas of responsibility.

  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a related field. In lieu of a degree, equivalent experience in a contracting environment will be considered.

  • Experience with various Contract/Subcontract types to include Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).

  • Demonstrated understanding of US Government Acquisition Regulations and working knowledge of FAR and DFARS

  • Prior experience administering contracts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and other commercial database applications.

  • Ability to conduct web-based research.

  • Adaptable to changes in dynamic work environment, workload and managing competing demands.
