JHT Awarded $40 Million NOAA Contract

JHT Incorporated announced today that they have been awarded a contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS) to provide technical and professional services. The five year award carries an estimated ceiling value of $40 million.
In facilitating the new contract, JHT will provide onsite support at NCCOS Centers at multiple locations including: the Center for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular Research (CCEHBR) and the Center for Human Health and Risk/Hollings Marine Laboratory (CHHR/HML) in Charleston, SC; the Center for Coastal Fisheries and Habitat Research (CCFHR), Beaufort, NC; and at the Cooperative Oxford Laboratory, Oxford, MD. JHT staff will offer technical support to the centers related to: understanding and predicting the impacts of coastal pollution on ecosystem health, understanding, management and remediation of HABs, development of regional ecological characterizations in support of marine spatial planning and for assessing the consequences of climate change on ecosystem services and coastal communities.
