DANTES/Troops To Teachers Visits San Juan on Program Mission

JHT Management and Operations program DANTES aids "Troops to Teachers" (TTT) in providing certification, testing and tuition services to military personnel transitioning into a second career as a public school teacher. In an effort to increase awareness about TTT, representatives travel extensively throughout the year with the purpose of promoting the program.

Pictured above are JHT Lead Education Counselor, John Roth and Troops to Teachers Chief and Director Bill McAleer on their recent trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico where they met with several state and local dignitaries in support of the program. The Honorable Pedro R. Pierluisi, Congressman for Puerto Rico, was also among the attendees for this special session.

The current TTT Team consists of 13 JHT employees located in the DANTES National Office in Pensacola, FL and is managed by Program Manager Owen Nofuente.
