JHT AWARDED NOAA CONTRACT AS SUBCONTRACTOR TO ASTER ENGINEERING INC.

ORLANDO, FL (October 19, 2010)

JHT Incorporated, as a subcontractor to Aster Engineering Inc., and additional teammates have been awarded a multiple-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) 8(a) contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide technical and professional service offerings for the NOAALink program. The 10-year, multi-award IDIQ carries an estimated ceiling value of $300 million.

The NOAALink model draws upon the innovation and expertise of America’s small businesses to standardize information technologies and solutions across the agency and ensure better, more cost-effective service. The program, which provides support to NOAA and additional Department of Commerce bureaus and offices, will span 15 service areas including: end-user services, data centers, application development, disaster recovery, and security. JHT will support Aster Engineering to provide special project service support for this important initiative.

The NOAALink awards advance President Obama’s and Commerce Secretary Gary Locke’s commitment to improve federal contracting by applying best practices for better services at reduced prices.
