Center, Dahlgren, VA.
The new contract, SeaPort-e, is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity

JHT Chief Executive Officer and President Jim Jardon said, "The Navy has taken
a bold step into the future with its SeaPort-e program, enabling the Navy and Marine
Corps to secure the professional services from private industry that are vital to
accomplishing the Corps? daily missions. Timely, cost-effective procurement of
products and services for our service personnel is even more critical with our
nation at war, and SeaPort-e will go a long way to ensure that the sea service
commands supporting our sailors and marines have the support they need to execute
their missions."
The government estimates that this contract, which was awarded to a large
number of private industry companies, will be used for an annual maximum of
$5,300,000,000 worth of service. The contract was awarded with a four-year
