- JHT Named Best Companies to Work For in Florida

JHT is featured in the August 2010 issue of Florida Trend as one of the Best Places to Work in Florida for Midsized Companies. To be considered for participation, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and be in business for a minimum of one year. Companies that chose to participate underwent a two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. - JHT Among Top Ten on Orlando Business Journal’s Simulation List

JHT Inc. was recognized on the 2010 Largest Modeling, Simulation and Training Companies list in the July 9 issue of the Orlando Business Journal. Holding the ninth position among the compilation of 20 local companies, JHT placed ahead of notable industry leaders including DiSTI and Camber Corporation. The rankings were based on the number of Central Florida employees within each company. - JHT Construction Transforms Sanctuary for True Marketing Group
(Orlando) 13 July 2010
JHT Construction was named general contractor for the True Marketing Group and Florida
Theatrical Association’s new corporate office and performance arts venue. The ambitious
project includes three separate spaces on the ground level and on the second floor of
the Sanctuary building at 100 S. Eola Drive downtown Orlando. To learn more about this

- JHT Awarded Training Contract from ICUF
(Orlando) 17 May 2010
On May 10, 2010, the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida commissioned JHT
to produce online, instructional modules as part of a grant from the Florida Department
of Education (FDOE). Democracy’s Laboratory ( http://democracyslab.icuf.org/)
is a collaborative project of four independent colleges and universities. The main
objective of this training initiative is to provide professional development in social
sciences to instructors working within the Florida Independent College Fund (FICF) to
better engage and educate English language learners and students with disabilities.
Led by Program Manager, Adrian Cox, the first two training modules are
scheduled to be delivered by June 30, 2010 followed by three additional modules
beginning June 30, 2010 and completed by June 30, 2011. This $38K contract is the
first ICUF task for JHT. Further development grants from the FDOE and the success
of the deliverables from this opportunity may lead to additional projects in the future.

- JHT Incorporated Awarded ISO Certification
(Orlando) 9 March 2010
JHT Inc. has been recertified for quality management by The International Organization for
Standardization (ISO). The ISO 9001:2008 status is obtained by an elite group of organizations
who consistently provide a product that meets the established customer and statutory regulatory
requirements. Led by Debra Spence, Director of Quality, the week long auditing process included
interviews with JHT personnel and a review of corporate documents and procedures for quality
compliance. Spence expressed her appreciation to the entire JHT team for their contributions
toward this effort. When asked to reflect on the assessment she offered, “The Auditor commended
our efforts this year and was impressed with the talent and enthusiasm of our workforce with
whom he met. It was apparent to him that we are always looking for improvements in all aspects
of our performance.” The ISO 9001: 2008 status is certified for a full year and requires
additional periodic internal audits to ensure compliance consistency.

- Jim Jardon Recognized as Top Minority Business Owner by OBJ

The Orlando Business Journal selected Jim Jardon as one of the top minority business owners
among a distinguished group of entrepreneurs in Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Lake counties.
OBJ writer Anjali Fluker cites business success and community leadership as the primary
factors in determining the three winners of this prestigious award. A brief company history

- JHT RECEIVES MAJOR ARMY CONTRACT (STOC II)
(Orlando) 28 January 2009
JHT was awarded a Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Omnibus
Contract II (STOC II) by the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation,
Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) in January 2009. STOC II is a ten-year
indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity multiple-award contract, with a
funding ceiling of $17,500,000,000. It will be a major vehicle for simulation
and training efforts by the Army, other armed services, and federal agencies,
and we already have a number of current customers and existing prospects who
can use STOC II as an appropriate vehicle for their programs. STOC II will
expand significantly our ability to accommodate customers who want access to
JHT's experience and expertise directly as a prime contractor. The broad range
of JHT products available under STOC II includes all types of courseware,
interactive multimedia instruction, instructional simulations, and technical
data management products like interactive electronic technical manuals and
technical bulletins.
- JHT EXPANDS WORK WITH FLORIDA VIRTUAL SCHOOLS

Florida Virtual Schools, one of the nation's largest and most successful on-line
secondary schools, has contracted with JHT to prepare courseware for Chinese 3
and Algebra 2. Our past work with the customer impressed it enough to ask us to
create additional courses for Middle School Spanish 1 and 2 and Advanced Placement
Spanish. Florida Virtual Schools appreciates our ability to develop the entire range
of materials in house ? from initial instructional design to creative and engaging
graphics to live action video to animations. We are fortunate to work with professional,
progressive clients like Florida Virtual Schools, and we appreciate the chance to
enhance and expand the educational opportunities for Florida's middle- and high-school
students.
