Case Study: Chesapeake Bay Report Card

CHALLENGE:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) operates and sustains an aggressive environmental program to preserve the seafood production, tourism and aquatic vegetation of Chesapeake Bay - a historic landmark and the largest estuary in the United States.

SOLUTION:
NOAA tasked us with conducting continuous field and laboratory research in the modeling and assessment of this region. Our efforts include many aspects of field collection, data compilation, validation and analysis, quality control and theoretical analysis.

RESULT:
The thorough analysis of the bay via an extensive annual Report Card to the residents of Chesapeake Bay. This surpassed NOAA’s expectation and has subsequently offered the citizens and scientists a vital reference tool on the state of their ecosystem.
